Who We Are

During a spiritual formation study on evangelism and the call to love our neighbors, we felt called to provide a platform that embraced the power of collective prayer. Recognizing the desire to create a space where people from all walks of life could come together in solidarity and offer support, encouragement, and most importantly, prayer, the vision for this site began to take shape. It is, with a steadfast commitment, that Community Prayer Circle embraces the mission to bring people together, foster connection, and stand as a testament to the transformative power of compassion and prayer.

What We Believe

The Gospel of Jesus Christ

  • We believe the Son of God came down from heaven, and by the miraculous birth through the virgin, Mary, was given the name Jesus, and signifies the Son’s unique nature as both fully God and fully human. We affirm that this divine conception demonstrates the fulfillment of Old Testament prophecies and Jesus' role as the prophesied Messiah.

  • We believe that Jesus lived a perfect and sinless life, fulfilling the moral standards of God's Moral Law that humanity could not achieve of our own accord. We affirm that He demonstrated the righteousness and holiness that we are unable to attain on our own, serving as the perfect example for us to follow in our own daily lives.

  • We believe Jesus willingly offered himself as a sacrifice on the cross, taking upon himself the punishment and consequences of our sins. We affirm His death satisfied God's justice, paying the penalty that we deserve due to our disobedience and rebellion against God.

  • We believe that through His resurrection, Jesus conquered death and sin, demonstrating His power over the grave. We Affirm that His victory provides hope and assurance of eternal life for all who trust in Him and that by conquering sin, Jesus offers forgiveness and freedom from its bondage, enabling believers to experience the newness of life.

  • We believe Jesus, as the bridegroom, is preparing a place for His bride, the Church. We acknowledge that He promised to return and gather his followers to be with him forever. We affirm that this future hope of a heavenly dwelling emphasizes the eternal union and fellowship of believers with God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit in His eternal kingdom.

The Five Solas

  • We believe in the supreme authority of the Bible as the ultimate source of religious authority and truth. We affirm that Scripture alone is sufficient for faith and practice, and it should be the final arbiter in matters of doctrine.

  • We believe that justification with God comes solely through faith in Jesus Christ. We affirm that salvation is received as a free gift of God's grace, and it is not earned or achieved through good works or human effort.

  • We believe that salvation is entirely by God's grace. We affirm that salvation is not merited or deserved by human beings but is solely a result of God's unmerited favor and loving kindness toward humanity.

  • We believe in the centrality and sufficiency of Jesus Christ for salvation. We affirm that Jesus is the only mediator between God and humanity and that salvation is found exclusively in him and reject the idea that any other person, institution, or religious system can provide a means to salvation.

  • We believe that all glory, honor, and praise belong to God alone. We affirm that the purpose of human existence is to bring glory to God in all aspects of life and recognize the sovereignty of God in salvation and humanity’s dependence on God's mercy and grace.
